Proverbs 17:22 ~A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
I can't think of a person who had a more merry heart than my dear friend Kay. Always smiles, even through the pain and truly a great laugh. You know the kind that comes straight from the heart and that makes you end up laughing as well, tears spilling out of your eyes because you can't stop. Her home and heart were always open to play games, or host a dinner, afternoon tea or summer BBQ. There was always a plethora of fun and games when Kay was around.
Monday evening the Lord finally called Kay to be home with him. She's no longer in pain and I'm sure that she's having a blast up in heaven right now. Tonight's lesson was given to us with her in mind, and the message that the Lord gave to Tim was truly a blessing. What a glorious way to remember her life and the love that she gave to others.
Hebrews 3:9 ~ There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Kay may have lived with her cancer for 14 years, but she has double the blessing of rest now that her life has been completed (something that we picked up tonight). She will be missed, but it's only temporary. I can't wait to see her again one day:)

You can seen in her picture that she must have been a *lovely* lady. I'm so very sorry for your loss....
Thank you, she was a lovely lady. Her smile conveyed the inner joy she had to all that knew her. She will be missed by all, but she's in a place of joy and quiet rest right now, and basking in the glow of her saviour!
