Winter Grades

So the winter quarter is over and the grades have been calculated. I only took one class, Meteorology. Basically the study of the weather. I got a C+ which I'm OK with, all I needed to do was pass anyway. Now onto next quarter. All I really need to do is pass statistics, even though I'm taking 3 classes, the others aren't really necessary and they'll be relatively easy. After that graduation is June 13th! YAY!!! Can you tell I'm looking forward to the end?

I bet you are looking forward to that feeling of accomplishment and relief. Have you ever thought about the statistics of how many people actually finish what they set out to accomplish and how many fall by the wayside?

Aaahhh, statistics that's one of my classes!!! And so the torture begins. Seriously though, I was also able to score one of my books on eBay last night for $59 saving myself a little money this quarter:) Thank you for the encouragement! It's so close I can taste it, but I don't want to take it for granted either I HAVE to pass stats in order to graduate. So I'm not out of the woods yet.

Sounds like you're doing good! What is your major in college?

Whatever you've got this. You've always got Steve Vaughn if need be to explain things. Just take it in baby steps and you'll see it will begin to become clear.

Philipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which stengtheneth me.

Glad to see you passed Meteorology! One down, one to go and you are done! Whoa Whoo!!

I agree with Sandi. No reason to struggle through stats when Steve is available to torture you. Seriously, call him if you need any assistance.

o nene8200. . .I don't have a declared major yet. I'm simply receiving my AA Transfer degree. If the Lord wants me to continue on in school, he'll make that really clear for me, but right now I don't have that clarity, because the desires of my heart have changed. I still think education is important and a wise thing to have and pursue, especially as a single gal having to provide for myself, but it's better to take advantage of this stopping point than pray rather than barrel on through and potentially miss what the Lord has in store. He's been using me in some amazing ways lately and I'd like more time to concentrate on those, and going to school full time doesn't facilitate that.

However, if I do end up continuing on I'll major in a Humanities discipline like English or Sociology.

English? Sociology? My brain is starting to hurt as we speak. So Bro. Vaughn is the Math guru, Now you're the English guru. :)
